ANALOGIES ARE NO LONGER ON THE SAT

ABOUT THIS SITE |
||
| For years teachers and parents have been helping kids prepare for these quizzes armed with little more than index cards and sharpie pens. For some students, these tools were more than enough. For many, they were not.
The purpose of this site is to provide a list of helpful analogy games and quizzes. Using these fast and fun tools, students can master word definitions quickly and then start to work on their related connections. (For the record as some of you have asked— We are not officially affiliated with the WordMasters Challenge. We are simply here in support of them and the good work they do for our kids.)
WHY IS THIS AN OPEN SITE?
Why not keep the resource completely closed, limiting it solely to the students at our school? Again, the answer is simple. We've opened the site because WE ARE PULLING FOR ALL OF YOU
We aren't just pulling for our few. The adults involved with this project would like to see everyone — kids from amazing private schools and kids from challenged public school — do well on these quizzes.
More than doing well on a handful of tests, we'd like to see your generation do well in life, so click away. Improve your verbal skills, improve your reasoning skills, and improve your chances for success.

Luckily, we no longer live in a paper and pencil world. The web is loaded with great resources to help learners of all styles— visual, auditory, kinesthetic, read/write — to achieve success on WMC and similar tests.
